Maine Instrument Flight is one of the nation’s oldest continuously operating aviation organizations. We offer flight training, charter, FBO services, maintenance, and scenic flights. In addition to our partnership with the University of Maine at Augusta, we also welcome students who wish to pursue their training independently. Each of our aircraft has excellent short-runway performance, making operating out of that small runway close to your home possible while still getting you to your destination safely, comfortable, and in a timely fashion! There’s simply no better way.
MAINTENANCE
Maine Instrument Flight’s aircraft maintenance facility is fully-equipped to service all piston aircraft. Our professionally-trained and FAA licensed Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) are ready to get your plane back in the air!

We have seats available to reserve for testing Tuesday – Thursday at 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Before you schedule your test you must first go to IACRA, create an account, and obtain your FTN (FAA Tracking Number). After you have obtained your FTN, you can sign up to take your test below by clicking the “Sign up for test” button below to register.
